Finding Our Niche

Last week we announced the creation of my new company, MeredithAndBoo.com, where we will be working with busy doctors to help them develop their own targeted business plans that can be implemented and managed in-house, using the resources they already have in place. 

Why doctors?   It’s actually pretty simple: when we conducted our market research, the strongest response we received was from doctors: dermatologists, plastic surgeons, dentists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, veterinarians, and so on.   

Our doctors tell us they want to grow their practices, but they don’t have the time or the inclination to become a marketing expert. (And why should they?) Many of them are overwhelmed by the flood of courses and webinars that come across their desk. So we came up with a step-by-step strategy, specifically designed for medical practices and clinics, that is built to drive new patient appointments, is manageable, and is low cost.  Best of all, it’s built to enable the doctors to spend their valuable time tending to patients, doing what they do best. 

Boo and I put our heads together and came up with a plan, an online class that will teach the doctors how to put a marketing plan in place in their practice and utilize resources that they already have in house.

But before we started creating our product, we circled back and interviewed several to validate that our new offer/idea would work for this "niche."
